North Carolina High School Basketball - Lexington knocked off by Monroe

February 27, 2024: Monroe, NC 28112

The Monroe Redhawks basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets to 37 in the Redhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redhawks now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Monroe will meet a Golden Lions team coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 17-9.
