In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lower Brule Sioux basketball team scored a decisive 63-38 triumph over the Sully Buttes Chargers.

In their next game, the Sioux face the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Lower Brule will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Battlers enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 64-37 non-league win over Lyman (Presho, SD).

With the defeat, Sully Buttes moves to 9-12 on the year.
