North Carolina High School Basketball - Marvin Ridge tops McDowell

February 27, 2024: Marion, NC 28752

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) and the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), saw Marvin Ridge's basketball squad knock off McDowell by a count of 62-47.

With the victory, Marvin Ridge upgrades its record to 17-10 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Chambers (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 20-8. Chambers won 74-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
