The Desert Edge Scorpions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Kellis Cougars to 0 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Scorpions now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ironwood for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 5. Desert Edge will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Central dropped by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
