The Mt. Eden Monarchs volleyball team (Hayward, CA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA)

The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Pilots come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph Notre Dame defeated Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Monarchs encounter the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a West Alameda County challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Mt. Eden will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA).
