California High School Basketball - St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy can't hold off Banning

The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors basketball team (Downey, CA), was nudged 37-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA)

The Pilots now possess a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savanna for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 29. Banning will battle a Rebels team coming off a 59-26 non-league win over Vasquez (Acton, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 25-7.
