Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) and the host Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR), saw Forrest City's basketball squad hold off Dardanelle by a tally of 44-39.

With the victory, Forrest City improves its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Nashville (Nashville, AR) to encounter the Scrappers in a non-league test on Thursday, February 29. The Scrappers go into the test with a record of 24-4.

The Sand Lizards now own a 20-8 record.
