The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Lakeview Huskies to 37 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Grosse Pointe South will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 58-57 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 9-12.
The Huskies (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, University Liggett was defeated by Lutheran North (Macomb, MI), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
