The Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), 55-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates (23-4) will now prepare for their test against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 19-8 record. In their last test, Triangle Math & Science walloped Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 36-33, in a non-league test.
