The Sturgis Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Pennfield Panthers to 36 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paw Paw for a Wolverine B contest on Thursday, February 29. Sturgis will battle a Red Wolves team coming off a 47-37 non-league win over Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Red Wolves record now stands at 19-2.
