South Carolina High School Lacrosse - James Island drops to Porter-Gaud

In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones lacrosse squad scored a tight 20-13 victory over the James Island Trojans.

The Cyclones now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Collegiate for a SCISA AA Region II test on Friday, March 1. Porter-Gaud will face a Titans squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 29. James Island will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Beaufort (Beaufort, SC).
