The Cherokee Warriors soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Gilmer Bobcats to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Warriors face the North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA) in a 7A Region 5 contest, on Friday, March 1. Cherokee will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Kell (Marietta, GA).
The Bobcats now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dawson County for a 3A Region 7 contest on Thursday, February 29. Gilmer will face a Tigers team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
