The Santa Margarita Eagles smashed the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. Santa Margarita will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 17-7.
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 23-5 on the season.
