Linden Lions (Linden, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA), 22-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enochs for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Linden will face a Eagles squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Calaveras falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red hawks host East Union (Manteca, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
