California High School Softball - Point Loma holds off Escondido Charter

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Escondido Charter White Tigers (Escondido, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pointers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mira Mesa for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1.

With the loss, Escondido Charter falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The White tigers travel to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
