The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) and the host Winter Haven Blue Devils (Winter Haven, FL), saw Lake Placid's softball squad nip Winter Haven by a count of 7-5.

The Dragons now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hardee for a non-league match on Thursday, February 29.

With the loss, Winter Haven falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Bartow (Bartow, FL) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 26. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a record of 0-0.
