With the triumph, Verrado improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Vipers host Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 28. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 1-3. Sunrise Mountain lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
