In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), by a margin of 18-8.
With the triumph, Belen moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles host Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Demons in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Demons come into the test with a record of 1-0. Santa Fe won 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
The Hilltoppers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Sandia Prep was routed by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 16-3, in a non-league test.
