The Desert Edge Scorpions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Buckeye Hawks to 4 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Desert Edge improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Scorpions host Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 28. The Aztecs come into the game with a record of 1-0. Copper Canyon won 22-7 in their recent non-league game against Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Buckeye will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ).
