Florida High School Softball - Monroe Academy bounces Central

The Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL) softball routed the host Central Jaguars (Milton, FL), 16-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Volunteers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Escambia Academy (Atmore, AL). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record.
With the loss, Central falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Baker (Baker, FL) to face the Gators in a 1A District 1 challenge on Thursday, February 29. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Baker won 13-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, FL)
