California High School Softball - El Monte bounces Montebello

February 27, 2024: Montebello, CA 90640

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA) and the host Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), witnessed El Monte's softball squad prevail over Montebello by a count of 18-1.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Wilson for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. El Monte will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Montebello moves to 1-3 on the season. The Oilers travel to Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Friday, March 1. The Braves go into the match with a record of 3-4.
