The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Strathmore for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. McFarland will face a Spartans squad coming off a 21-2 non-league loss to Avenal (Avenal, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Farmersville falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA) to face the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Sierra won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mendota (Mendota, CA)
