Arizona High School Softball - Rio Rico bounces Nogales

The Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) softball routed the host Nogales Apaches (Nogales, AZ), 23-13 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Colts go into the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Buena was routed by Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ), 5-1, in a non-league bout.

The Apaches now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 5. Nogales will confront a Badgers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 7-1.
