California High School Softball - Samueli Academy knocked off by Oxford Academy

February 27, 2024: Cypress, CA 90630

In Tuesday's league contest, the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA), by a margin of 17-1.

With the triumph, Oxford Academy moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Portola (Irvine, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Portola lost 14-8 in their recent non-league contest against Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

In their next game, the Firewolves play the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 29. Samueli Academy will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Tustin (Tustin, CA).
