The Hornets now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Picayune for a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. Poplarville will face a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 17-8 non-league loss to Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Stone falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Columbia (Columbia, MS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, March 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-1.
