The McClintock Chargers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Apache Junction Prospectors to 2 in the Chargers non-league win on Thursday.

The Chargers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. McClintock will play a Sentinels team coming off a 10-8 non-league win over ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Apache Junction drops to 0-2 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Rams go into the test with a record of 0-2. Maricopa lost 11-5 in their recent non-league test against ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ)
