The Harleton Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Brownsboro Bears to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Harleton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Brownsboro drops to 3-6 on the year. The Bears travel to West Rusk (New London, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-2.
