In Thursday's non-league bout, the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), by a score of 10-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 28. Iota will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record.
The Bears (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Sacred Heart achieved victory over Loreauville (Loreauville, LA), 15-9, in a non-league bout.
