The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), saw Independence's baseball team beat Central by a margin of 17-3.
The Patriots (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers enter the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, North Canyon defeated South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 17-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bobcats face the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Central will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
