California High School Baseball - Hawthorne Math & Science Academy holds off Locke

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) and the visiting Locke Saints (Los Angeles, CA), saw Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's baseball team gain a win over Locke by a tally of 7-3.

The The Aviators (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Seawolves enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica was overwhelmed by de Toledo (West Hills, CA), 11-9, in a league battle.

Next, the Saints face the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Locke will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA).
