In Thursday's non-league bout, the Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX), by a tally of 13-3.
Next up, the Tornadoes encounter the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 27. Lamesa will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX).
