Spectators at Thursday's non-league test between the Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) and the visiting Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX), witnessed Pecos's baseball team hold off Midland Classical Academy by a count of 4-3.

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Pecos will clash with a Lobos team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Andress (El Paso, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Midland Classical Academy drops to 5-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Scorpions go into the test with a record of 4-2. Horizon won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)
