The Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS) baseball trounced the host West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS), 18-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Louisville for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Noxapater will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.
With the defeat, West Lowndes drops to 0-3 on the year. The Panthers host Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS) to clash with the Volunteers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3. The Volunteers go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Starkville Academy won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)
