The Pecos Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Stanton Buffaloes to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Midland Classical Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Pecos will clash with a Knights team coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Stanton drops to 4-4 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Scorpions go into the test with a record of 4-2. Horizon won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Ysleta (El Paso, TX)
