The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ) and the host Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ), saw Yuma's baseball team beat Sahuaro by a margin of 10-1.

The Criminals (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Charlotte Christian defeated Ysleta (El Paso, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 28. Sahuaro will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX).
