California High School Volleyball - Davis Sr. tips Rio Americano

February 27, 2025: Davis, CA 95616

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Davis Sr. Blue Devils (Davis, CA) and the visiting Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), observed Davis Sr.'s volleyball team hold off Rio Americano by a tally of 3-2.

The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Sierra Foothill League contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Folsom got by Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Raiders meet the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference contest, on Monday, March 3. Rio Americano will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Whitney (Rocklin, CA).
