In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Colonial Beach Drifters basketball team scored a good 41-27 triumph over the West Point Pointers.
The Drifters (19-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles go into the Northern Neck contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Westmoreland topped Essex (Tappahannock, VA), 41-36, in a non-league contest.
