The Freehold Township Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Marlboro Mustangs to 48 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe Township for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Freehold Township will confront a Falcons team coming off a 46-30 non-league win over North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 16-9.

With the loss, Marlboro falls to 6-10 on the campaign.
