In Thursday's league contest, the host Alpharetta Raiders lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-7 triumph over the South Forsyth War Eagles.
The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns go into the 3A Area 5 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lambert held off Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 17-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the War Eagles meet the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 5. South Forsyth will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Gladiators go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
