The Chaparral Pumas lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Santiago Sharks to 10 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pumas now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Clemente for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Chaparral will clash with a Tritons squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Santiago falls to 4-2 on the year. The Sharks host Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) to clash with the Sea Kings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Sea Kings go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Corona del Mar won 15-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA)
