Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA), 24-0 in a league battle.

With the victory, Pope advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Roswell (Roswell, GA) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Friday, February 28. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Roswell lost 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against Lambert (Suwanee, GA)

The Raiders now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennesaw Mountain for a 2A Area 3 battle on Monday, March 3. East Paulding will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.
