The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), saw Piedmont's baseball team gain a win over A.L. Brown by a tally of 12-8.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Mount Pleasant was overwhelmed by Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC), 8-5, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wonders face the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 7. A.L. Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
