The El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) softball the visiting Aliso Niguel Wolverines (Aliso Viejo, CA), 8-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Vanguards now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to JSerra Catholic for a non-league outing on Friday, March 14.
