The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA), 8-4 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Bruins now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocklin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4. Ponderosa will encounter a Thunder team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 2-2.
