Florida High School Lacrosse - Newsome bounces Alonso

The Newsome Wolves lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the host Alonso Ravens to 3 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolves now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Newsome will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Columbus (Miami, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Alonso falls to 1-4 on the year. The Ravens travel to Plant (Tampa, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A D11 challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Plant lost 11-6 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
