The Cardinal Newman Cardinals triumphed over the host Rancho Cotate Cougars lacrosse team by a tally of 11-6 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Novato Hornets (Novato, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Cardinal Newman will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, CA).
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Foothill was overwhelmed by Monte Vista (Danville, CA), 18-3, in a league game.
