The Whitewater Wildcats held off the host Midtown Knights lacrosse team by a tally of 9-8 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) in a 1A Area 3 game, on Wednesday, March 5. Whitewater will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their game against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, North Cobb tipped Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA), 16-2, in a non-league game.
