The Keller Central Chargers triumphed over the host Birdville Hawks softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers play the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 28. Keller Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 6-4 non-league win over V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX).
The Hawks (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Weatherford (Weatherford, TX). The Kangaroos enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Weatherford was routed by Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
