The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the visiting Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA), observed Brusly's softball team notch a victory over Erath by a final score of 12-1.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans go into the 4A District 6 bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) in a 3A District 5 bout, on Monday, March 3. Erath will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA).
