The St. Joseph Flyers the visiting Columbus Cardinals softball squad by a count of 7-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Flyers play the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 28. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 7-5 league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX).
The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Sandcrabs enter the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Calhoun edged St. Joseph (Victoria, TX), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
